Rolesville’s Hot Start Propels Them Past South Central
The Rolesville Rams never trailed in their wire to wire 65-53 victory over the Winterville South Central Falcons.
The Rams showed their team's experience with seniors Jahriell Murchison, Camryn Lee, and Gabrielle Mathews leading the offense. Murchison finished as the leading scorer for Rolesville putting up 19 points to go with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Wing Camryn Lee was everywhere for the Rams, finishing with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
South Central struggled to find their rhythm in the first half, but turned it on in the second half. The second half spark was provided by junior Brook Evans and senior captain Jaidyn Boswell though it proved to be too late by that point. Evans finished the game with 19 points and 8 rebounds with Boswell adding 11 points.
Rolesville will face Grace Christian in a primetime game on Friday, December 27th at 7:30pm. South Central has the opportunity to get back in the win column on Friday at 10:30am.
