Princess Anne dominates Saturday nightcap over South Garner

Highly ranked Virginia Beach VA Princess Anne Cavaliers closed out tournament day two by taking down the South Garner Titans 64-30. The Cavaliers walked out on the court ready for a win, as they jumped to a fast lead which they maintained for the entirety of the game. Going into the second quarter with double the Titans score, Princess Anne was able to hold the Titans to a 36-17 first half, and didn’t stop there.

The second half put the nail in the coffin for the Titans, as the Cavaliers pulled away to a 32 point lead going into the final quarter of the game. Both teams seemed to know the outcome going to the final frame, and the end of the game slowed to 10-8 in favor or the Cavaliers.

Princess Anne will continue Monday at 3pm against St. Frances Academy, and South Garner will face off against Cannon the same day at 12pm.
