Overtime Elite Cold Hearts Win First Holiday Invitational Title Over Garner

The Atlanta (GA) Overtime Elite Cold Hearts had a steady lead in their Saturday night game against the Garner Trojans, and went home with a new piece of hardware thanks to their 65-45 win. The game was hardly close, mostly in part to the Cold Hearts size, but the Overtime team was unable to score with ease as they had in their first game. The first quarter ended 10-6 and the Trojans only entered the halftime break down 11. The third quarter was a different story, as the Cold Hearts held Garner to 4 points while hanging 23 of their own.

Oklahoma commit Kai Rogers was the leading scorer for the Cold Hearts, recording an 18 point, 12 rebound double double. Senior Asher Elson was also a major contributor finishing with 14 points and 6 rebounds.

The Garner Trojans were led by junior Darius Whitner with 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists in the loss.
