Spire Academy uses hot start to win opening game against Ambassador Christian
Spire Academy of Geneva OH proved their hike to Raleigh worth it in their Saturday night 54-45 win against the Ambassador Christian Lions. The Lions couldn’t seem to find the basket in the first half, shooting 5 for 23 from the field. The Potomac MD Bullis Bulldogs used an explosive second half to take down the Fayetteville Terry Sanford Bulldogs 69-43 in the first round of the Wonderland Bracket. The Baltimore MD St. Frances Academy rallied to take down the Concord Cannon Cougars 53-41 in the first round of the Wonderland Bracket. The Gaston Christian Eagles defeated the Greensboro Grimsley Whirlies 51-41 in the third and final showcase of the 2025 John Wall Holiday Invitational Saturday afternoon at Southeast Raleigh High School. Queens Grant defeats Westover in convincing fashion
The Matthews Queens Grant Stallions took care of business early and often in a 53-12 showcase game win over the Fayetteville Westover Wolverines Saturday afternoon. It was all Stallions as the score reflects. Queens Grant went into the locker at the half up 34-5. The Wolverines just didn’t have an answer for the Stallions defense.
