Westchester Wins Defensive Battle Against Green Level

Friday's game was an intense battle between the Los Angeles Westchester Comets and the Cary Green level Gators, with the Comets pulling through with the 49-41 win. Westchester went to the half of the low scoring contest up 1 going into the half. Green Level jumped into the lead by the end of the third quarter but couldn’t hold on in the fourth being held to 4 points in the quarter. 

While the final score had Westchester on top, they had to fight for a win on Friday against the Gators. Tajh Ariza finished his first Holiday Invitational game with a 13/13 double double. Senior Patrick Ramos and junior Ty Ingram each added 12 points for the Comets. 

Green Level did a lot right in their opening game but just couldn’t finish the job. Issac Ericksen led all scores with 15 points while adding 7 rebounds and 2 assists. 

Westchester will take the floor for their second game on Saturday December 28th at 5pm against Highland (VA). Green Level is back in action on Saturday as well at 11am against Millbrook.
