After being down after the first quarter, Spire Academy of Geneva OH came back in full for a 62-43 win against the Greensboro Day Bengals. Spire went into the second quarter down by 2, but turned their game around fast, holding the Bengals to 8 while scoring 18 of their own in the second quarter. Their strong play put them up 29-21 going into the half, a lead which they managed to keep for the remainder of the game. The third quarter was primarily maintenance for both teams, but the fourth was the straw that broke the Bengal’s back, as Spire was able to outscore them 16-7.

Spire Academy’s Alabama commit Tarris Bouie was key to the team's win, with 19 points. Iowa State commit Dorian Rinaldo-Komlan was just shy of a double double, with 15 points and 9 rebounds for Spire, and junior Darrell Davis had 10 points himself.

Greensboro Day was led by sophomore Micah Gunter who had 12 points, as well as freshman Grant Duggins, who had 11.

Spire Academy will play in the Coby White Bracket championship game on Tuesday at 8pm against the winner of Southeastern-IMG. Greensboro Day will play the loser of the same game for a 3rd place spot on Tuesday at 2pm.
