South Garner Wins Wonderland 7th Place Game Against South Central

The final day of 2024 Holiday Invitational action could not have had a better start than a 51-50 win for the Titans of South Garner over the Falcons from Winterville South Central. The first quarter ended with a South Garner four point lead, which was exchanged for a 4 point deficit by the time the teams reached the half. With both teams scoring 15 in the third quarter, this game all came down to the final stanza. South Garner was able to secure a lead inside of 2 minutes and hold the Falcons scoreless for the final 90 seconds to get the win. 

South Garner sophomore Kimaya Barnes paced the Titans in scoring with 14 points. Fellow sophomore Calise Crawford had 7 points with 8 rebounds in the win.

South Central was guided by sophomore Kaelyn McCarter who had a game high 16 points and 7 steals. Freshman Jazmine Farrington also had 11 points and 6 rebounds.
