Sidwell Friends Earns 5th Place over Green Level in Coby White Bracket

The Washington DC Sidwell Friends Quakers use a strong defensive second half to win their last day matchup against the Cary Green level Gators 50-38. This win earns them the 5th Place position in the Coby White Bracket, and concludes both teams' journeys in the 2024 Holiday Invitational. The first half of this game was fairly give and take between teams, as the Gators went into halftime with a 4 point lead. Although the second half of the game didn’t carry much more scoring for the Quakers, they were able to hold Green Level to a 13 point second half.

Sidwell’s game was largely credited to junior Jalyn Collingwood who had 18 points. Senior Caleb Gillus had 9 points of his own in addition to an astounding 10 assists.

Green Level finishes their tournament in 6th place spot in the Coby White Bracket of the holiday invitational. The Gators were led by junior Trevor Manhertz, who had 18 points in the game. Illinois State commit Isaac Ericksen also contributed to the team's game today with 12 points and 6 rebounds.
