Ravenscroft Win Against Greenfield Opens Day 2 of Holiday Invitational

Friday morning’s 9:30am game was an exciting game of back and forth for the Raleigh Ravenscroft Ravens who came out on top over the Wilson Greenfield Knights, 72-66. The tightly contested matchup was their second of the season with the Knights winning their first meeting. 

The Ravens were once again led by senior Chance Gladden who finished with a game high 27 points while adding 9 rebounds and 5 assists. 

Junior Kobe Edwards paced the Knights in scoring with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Freshman Braxton Dubose stepped up to play as well finishing the game with 16 points and 7 rebounds. 

Ravenscroft will play in the Day’Ron Sharpe bracket fifth place game on Monday December 30th at 12:30pm against the winner of the Farmville Central-Davidson Day game.Greenfield also returns to action in the Sharpe bracket seventh place game on the 30th at 6pm at William Peace University against the loser of that same Farmville-Davidson matchup.
