The nationally ranked Virginia Beach VA Princess Anne Cavaliers returned to the John Wall with the goal of renewing their championship from 2024, and they made it a reality with their 70-57 win over the Potomac MD Bullis Bulldogs. Both teams had a fiery start to the Tuesday night game with Bullis going into the half up 32-31. The Cavaliers locked down their defense in the game-defining third quarter, where they were able to hold the Bulldogs to only 8 points, pulling ahead to a 50-40 lead. The game finished out with more of the same, as the Cavaliers continued to widen their lead on the Bulldogs.

The Princess Anne Cavaliers were unsurprisingly led by tournament MVP, junior Micah Ojo, who pulled off a double double with 17 points 10 rebounds, as well as 6 assists. Senior Jizelle James and East Carolina University commit Tristan Rickenbacker also had huge games, with 18 and 16 points respectively.

The Bulldogs had an incredible showing from their superstar, number two ranked Ivanna Wilson-Manyacka, who had 30 points and 7 rebounds to lead all scorers.

Both teams will continue their seasons back in 2026 after the break.
