McNeil propels Rockingham Richmond past Durham Jordan
The Rockingham Richmond Raiders ran away with a 77-62 win against the Durham Jordan Falcons to open up their play in the Devonte Graham Bracket of the 2023 John Wall Holiday Invitational.
The Falcons defense could not handle the offensive arsenal of Raiders guard Paul McNeil. The NC State commit, Mcneil, finished with 27 points, finding his way to the free-throw line 14 times. He also added 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Jamarion Wall and Ahavier McDonald each added 10 points for the Raiders.
Jordan freshman Julian Lowe made a name for himself in his John Wall Holiday Invitational debut, putting up 17 points and 5 rebounds. Zion Wells gave the Falcons another 17 points.
Richmond awaits the winner of Pittsboro Northwood-Hillsborough Orange for a semifinal matchup Friday. Jordan will face off against the loser in a consolation game.
