John Marshall Wins First Holiday Invitational Game in Convincing Fashion

On Thursday afternoon the Richmond John Marshall Justices took down the Fayetteville Clayton Comets in a 70-44 game. The Justices held the Comets to single figures in both of the opening quarters taking a 35-15 lead to the break. Clayton was able to find some additional scoring in the second half but the John Marshall lead was too much to surmount.

John Marshall senior Aiden Argabright was the team's leading scorer with 19 points. He worked alongside fellow senior Troy Henderson who had 15 points of his own, in addition to 5 assists and 3 rebounds.

Clayton  was led by junior Khaleil Walters and senior Darrion Ellis. The pair scored 15 and 12 respectively with Walters adding 6 rebounds.

John Marshall will play again Saturday, December 28th at 2pm against the winner of Southern Durham-Sidwell Friends on Friday. Clayton will play at 9:30am on Saturday, December 28th against the loser of the Southern Durham-Sidwell Friends game.
