Host Southeast Raleigh takes down Northern Guilford

The Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs defeated the Northern Guilford Nighthawks 61-54 in the Frances Pulley Bracket of the 2025 Holiday Invitational Frances. The Bulldogs fought off a late comeback attempt from the Nighthawks to secure the win and punch their ticket to the championship game.
The game started with back and forth through much of the first quarter until the Bulldogs used a 7-2 run to close out the quarter and take a 20-12 lead into the second. The teams picked up where they left off trading baskets for the remainder of the game. The Nighthawk fought it back to a three point game with less than three minutes to go then tied it up late but a late 7-0 run for Bulldogs secured the win.
Dariyah Harris led the way for the Bulldogs with 20 points in the win.
Southeast Raleigh will face the winner of Broughton-South Meck the Frances Pulley Bracket Championship Monday at 3:30pm at Broughton High School while Northern Guilford will face the loser of Broughton-South Meck Friday at 10:30am in the third place game at Southeast Raleigh.
