The Reidsville Rams bounced back in a big way winning a back and forth game 71-68 over the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs after suffering their first loss in 63 straight games on Day 1. After falling behind in the first quarter, the Rams took control of the game and held on tightly through the finish. Their star point guard, Dionte Neal notched his second 42-point outing of this year's tournament. The UNC-Greensboro commit just wasn’t going to finish this year’s tournament without a win, somehow constantly finding his way to the basket.
Despite the loss, Southeast Raleigh put up a fight in its second game of their first-ever appearance at the Holiday Invitational. The Bulldogs’ talented sophomore backcourt of Travis Cooper and Aaron Parker stood out, with Cooper pouring in 21 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field, while Parker added eight points and pulled down 11 rebounds.
Both teams conclude their time at the 2025 Holiday Invitational as they both look to NCHSAA conference play.
