Day’Ron Sharpe 5th Place Game Goes to Davidson Day After Win Over Ravenscroft

The Davidson Day School Patriots take home a 63-57 win in the Day’Ron Sharpe bracket Monday morning against the Raleigh Ravenscroft Ravens. The game was tight for the majority, going into half with a tie, but the Ravens just couldn’t quite play all 32 minutes today. Their strong effort in the first 3 quarters tired significantly going into the fourth. Davidson Day came to play in the final 8 minutes with a 21 point fourth quarter and held Ravenscroft to only 9.

Davidson Day was led by senior Levon Jacobs who had 15 points and 4 rebounds. 3 other players also scored in double figures; sophomore Mac Habenicht (14 points), junior Andrew Washington (13 points), and sophomore Lincoln Vinson (13 points).

Ravenscroft was once again led by Boston University commit Chance Gladden who had an absolutely incredible final game of the tournament. Gladden ended his day with 33 points, 17 rebounds, and 4 assists.
