The Henderson NV Coronado Cougars used a fast start to take control of their semifinal matchup with the Florence Wilson Tigers and earned themselves a 72–60 victory. Sophomore Devaughn Dorrough led the Cougars on the offensive end, as the athletic wing poured in 23 points and grabbed 9 rebounds while shooting 10-for-12 from the field. Senior Amare Oba also played a key role in the Cougars’ success, adding 16 points.

The Wilson Tigers suffered their first loss in their last seven games on Day 3, falling behind early and never fully recovering after a first-quarter deficit. Despite the loss, 2027 four-star recruit Josh Leonard was a bright spot on both ends of the floor, filling the stat sheet with 21 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 steals.

Coronado will face Greenfield on December 30 at 6:30 p.m. with the Day’Ron Sharpe Bracket championship on the line. Wilson will look to bounce back earlier that day, taking on Highland at 3:30 p.m. as they aim to take home the 3rd place crown.
