Cold Hearts to Play for First Holiday Invitational Championship

The Atlanta (GA) Overtime Elite Cold Hearts put it on cruise control in a 86-44 victory over the Raleigh Word of God Rams to cap off day two of the 2024 Holiday Invitational. The Cold Hearts came out the game red hot with a 46 point first half, and kept on pouring it on.


The Cold Hearts had 4 players scoring in the double digits. Junior Adam Oumiddoch was the team's leading scorer with 19 points, followed by senior Asher Elson who had 18. Oklahoma commit Kai Rogers (15 points) and Senior Jeremiah Faumuina (11 points) were also key in the team’s performance.


Senior Jaevian Alston was the Rams’ leading scorer finishing with 12 points.


With the win, the Cold Hearts will play for the Morgan Stanley Bracket Championship in their first appearance in bracket play as they take on Garner Saturday, December 28th at 8pm. Word of God will play at 1:30pm on Saturday against Washington in the Stanley 3rd Place game.
