Christ School Cruises to Rudy Watson Bracket Championship

The Christ School Greenies brought hardware back to Arden after a dominant 74-50 championship win over the Washington High School Pam Pack in the Rudy Watson Bracket. The Greenies jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, showcasing a balanced offensive and defensive effort throughout the game.

Junior Trevor Manhertz led the Greenies with 20 points, hitting five three-pointers. Senior point guard Kingston Whitty contributed in all the offense, finishing with 18 points while adding 10 rebounds, eight of which were offensive.

Washington opened Day 1 of the tournament with a big win over Reidsville but struggled to keep pace in the championship. The Pam Pack fell behind early and were unable to recover from the slow start.

Christ School will carry their championship performance and confidence into NCISAA competition in the new year, while Washington will look to regroup and build on their tournament experience as the Pam Pack looks to win a NCHSAA 4A championship.
