Christ School comes away with win in their opening game against Southeast Raleigh

The Arden Christ School Greenies started off slow in a back and forth first quarter but knocked off the Southeast Raleigh High Bulldogs 78-54. The game was tight going into the half with the Greenies up 26-23. They came out firing in the second half and put the game away with a strong 34 point third quarter.
The Greenies had four players scoring in double digits, led by senior Tyler Jones with 19 points and 4 rebounds. He had support from senior Kingston Whitty with 15 points and 7 rebounds himself. Senior Dacen Petty added 15 points and junior Skyler Ellis finished the game with 10 points.
Southeast Raleigh sophomore Aaron Parker led the Bulldogs game with a near double double, ending his day with 22 points and 9 rebounds.
Both teams have a quick turn around with games again on Saturday. The Greenies will play at 2pm against the winner of Reidsville High and Washington High. The Bulldogs will play the loser of the same game at 9:30am.
