Bullis’ Big First Quarter Too Much for Deep Creek

On Friday evening, the Potomac (MD) Bullis School Bulldogs came out firing with an impressive first quarter, and kept the lead to finish off the Chesapeake (VA) Deep Creek Hornets 67-45. Deep Creek outscored the Bulldogs in the second quarter but came out flat the second half en route to the loss.
The Bullis win was thanks to sophomore Ivanna Manyacka who had 25 points in the contest in addition to 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Senior Sanai Troutman also contributed 13 points in the win.
Deep Creek was led by sophomore Morgan Herbert who had 18 points and 3 rebounds..
Bullis will play again Saturday December 28th at 7:30pm in the Frances Pulley Bracket Championship against Mallard Creek. Deep Creek will play again Saturday at 10:30am against DME Academy.
