1 of 1 Prep Has Strong Showcase Win against Watauga

Indian Trail 1 of 1 Prep came out the door swinging Monday afternoon with a 22 point first quarter en route to a 55-42 win over the Boone Watauga Pioneers. Watauga struggled to find scoring throughout, being held to less than 15 points in every quarter so 1 of 1’s lead at the end of the first quarter was safe. While scoring was hard to come by for the Pioneers, defensively Watauga was able to hold 1 of 1 most of the rest of the game.

1 of 1 Prep was guided by senior Alyssa Hankerson (12 points) and junior Miley Malcolm (10 points, 5 rebounds). 

Watauga leading scorers were senior Julie Matheson who had 14 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists and senior Kate Sear with her double double of 11 points and 14 rebounds.
