Panther Creeks wins Coby White third-place game over First Flight

Cary Panther Creek used 22 points and six rebounds from senior guard Amari Richardson to battle past Kill Devil Hills First Flight, 74-60, in the Coby White third-place game.
The Catamounts took a 23-10 lead at the end of the first quarter and maintained that margin for much of the game.
First Flight fought back in the fourth quarter; senior guard Isaac Dobbie’s late-game spark — highlighted by a steal the sharp-shooting guard turned into a transition layup — helped the Nighthawks trim their deficit to seven points. But a plethora of costly technical fouls in the final minutes of play helped Panther Creek cruise to the win.
Chris Uwayo had 19 points and five rebounds for the Catamounts, while Isaac Dobbie had 24 points and his brother Mason added 14 points and seven rebounds.
